Rodeos

Rodeos have come along way from the original roots of the 1800s where they had no fancy arenas or sponsors. Pure horsemanship and cattle to roundup and brand was the name of the game. The arenas are filled to capacity today, filled with fans to witness the skills of the brave at heart in roping, broncos, bull riding, and great horsemanship. The skills can be traced back to the Spanish traditions.

In the late 1700s the Spanish held most of the land that is now known as the American west. As the trades changed the need for skilled horseman were in demand, and the traditions handed down followed in raising cattle and handling the range lands each day.
