Floating down a river in an inner tube is a very fun and very relaxing thing to do under the sun. However, since you need a river to do this, it is not something you can do just anywhere. Here are a few places you can go to float in an inner tube down a river.
Two places that are beneficial to be if you want to go tubing are Texas and Arizona, because there are a few places in each to go tubing. In Texas, around New Braunfel is a good place to be, because in town there is the Comal River. Twelve miles west, there is the Guadalupe River. These are both prime spots for tubing. In Arizona, there are two spots in different parts of the state that you can choose from. One is in Mesa, where you would be floating down the Salt River. You can go to Yuma and go down the lower part of the Colorado River.
These are not the only two states in the country to go tubing in. Colorado has several places you can go as well. One place is the Colorado River, the bulk of which lies in Colorado. There is also the Arizona River Basin and the Rio Grande to visit for a tubing adventure.
These are just a few of the places in the US that you can go to go tubing, but they are not the only places you can go. The truth is that the only things you need to go tubing is a calm body of water and a tube. You can access these things in many, many different places across the country.
