Denver, Colorado

Denver is called the Mile High City which would lead a person to think that it is in the mountains. However, Denver sits on a plateau just east of the Rockies, and it is one of the fastest growing cities in the US because of everything it has to offer. Many people who visit Denver end up coming back to live there.

So what are the draws? There are many great aspects like the diverse neighborhoods. Each one has its own unique feel, and they are among towns with restaurants, stores and art galleries. It allows Denver to have the feel of a small town, but go into Denver proper, and it changes; you are in a big city with all the amenities a city has to offer.

What started as three towns in the middle of nowhere expanded to become a modern city with something for everyone. They have the largest Cinco de Mayo Festival in the US, Longs Peak Scottish Irish Festival, the gay rodeo and PrideFest, the Black American West Museum, and the Museo de Las Americas. But that isn't all the have.
Denver is home to an Asian American community, and caters to people with special needs.

But the diversity of the city is not the only draw. Places like the Jurassic Gardens, the Denver Museum, and the Denver Art museum add to the cultural draw of the city.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, Colorado has excellent ski areas in easy driving distance of Denver. In the summer, a trip to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is a spectacular view into nature.

Yes, Denver does have something to offer everyone. A quick trip to denver.org will give you all the information you could ever need to plan a trip to the Mile High City.
