Denver, Colorado started out back in 1858 as Montana City and it was settled during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. Modern Denver is famous for many things besides world class snow and the Broncos. Adams Mystery Playhouse and Lumber Baron Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre allow the guests to actually become part of the performance. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater provides visitors the chance to experience a world class amphitheater while taking in nature’s wonders.
If you are looking for something for the kids, then you have to check out Elitch Gardens. Send the kids to Looney Tunes Playland while you relax on the 75-year-old carousel. If you want to experience Denver history one-on-one, then visit downtown Denver. In 1988, the entire downtown area was designated as a historic district. If you happen to fly into Denver, then you must spend some time exploring the Denver International Airport. You will find a full-blown post office, chapels and even a pet play center. Denver is a city with history, style and beauty. It is a city that has something for everyone.
