St. Louis, Missouri has always been a leading influence in America. The city being a river port became a commerce and trade hotbed during the 1800s and still to this day attracts those who would pioneer. The city is home to St. Louis Blues in hockey, the St. Louis Rams in football and the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball. The Cardinals are a nine-time winner of the World Series. Boxing and pro wrestling also has some notable contributions from St. Louis.
The city has pioneered in music and had massive achievements in jazz, blues, ragtime and theater. In media, the city possesses some of the top daily newspapers in the region. St. Louis the 21st largest designate market area for television and pioneered the call-in format for radio.
St. Louis is home to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, which is the largest in the world. The Missouri Botanical Gardens, also known as Shaw’s Garden, is famous for worldwide botanical research. Famous museums, churches, cathedrals and other historical points of interest make St. Louis strong in life and culture and designate it as a must-see destination.
