When a person is hiking in the Smokey Mountains, he or she usually covers around one and a half miles during one hour of hiking. Springtime in the Smokey Mountains is flowing with wildflowers and pretty flowering trees. The spruce fir forests, streams and falls are blooming during the winter. During the winter in the Smokey Mountains, the leaves open up the trails and show the stone walls, chimneys, and foundations.
The air is crispy and dry during the fall, with the beautiful colors of autumn streaming everywhere. There are so many different things to see within the mountains that it is somewhat difficult to figure out where one wants to hike. Abrams Falls has a wooden bridge over the creek, and the trail can become steep near the Arbutus Ridge. Abrams is extremely popular for hikers and leads to the largest waterfalls. If one is looking to find the Arch Rock, Huggins Hell, Inspiration Bluff, and Little Pigeon River's upper basin, he or she needs to hike the Alum Cave Bluff.
It is approximately four point six mile and is moderately difficult, along with Abram Falls. The Charlie's Bunion hike trail is around ten miles, and is moderately difficult to hike. This trail goes along the Appalachian trail, and one will find more panoramic views there. An extremely difficult hike of the Smokey Mountains is the Gregory Bald trail. It is eleven point six miles long, and is for experienced hikers, because can take around four hours to reach the Balds. There are many other trails in the Smokey Mountains. The trails are extremely exciting and anyone can find fun there.
