What to Do When You are in Denver, Colorado

While visiting the city of Denver, Colorado you will find an almost endless stream of fun and interesting activities to do. Denver appeals to almost anyone with a sense of adventure and a desire to try new things.

If you are a music lover you can take in some of Denver's free concerts, which feature everything from classical to jazz artists. Architectural enthusiasts will be interested to know that Denver’s state capitol building was modeled after the capitol in Washington, D.C. While in downtown Denver try taking a tour of the Governor’s Residence or the Boettcher Mansion.

For the thrill-seekers, you must ride the roller coasters at Denver's Six Flags Elitch Gardens. The amusement park also has a new ride that simulates snowboarding for the adventurous ones to try.

All in all, Denver truly does have a wide range of entertainment and events that occur all year long. So, whether you are a winter enthusiast or not, there is always plenty to do in Denver any of the four seasons.
